Find available domain names with AI

Describe your idea, and our AI will instantly find unique, available domain names tailored to your audience, brand, and format—or check the availability of any domain in real time.

Audience Select one or both — names divided into active filters
Both active — 50% country, 50% global name
Length Character Count
Creativity Real vs. Made-up Words
Format Aloud Characters

TLDs Extension to include in generated names
Audience Select who the brand is aimed at. Select a specific country, and the AI will suggest names that sound natural and familiar to people in that region—using local language patterns, popular prefixes, and cultural naming styles. Enable Global to create names that work in any country or language. You can also select both simultaneously: half the suggestions will be country-specific, half will be globally neutral.
Length This controls the approximate number of characters the suggested names will have. Short names (about 4–8 characters) are effective, easy to type, and perform well as brand names. Medium (about 8–13 characters) provide more information while remaining memorable. Long names (13+ characters) can convey more meaning but are harder to remember and type—they're more suitable for compound words or descriptive phrases.
Creativity Controls how real or made-up the suggested words are. Low sticks to real dictionary words and common combinations—names people already know how to spell and pronounce. Medium combines real words with slight variations, such as portmanteaus or short made-up compounds. High creates completely made-up words inspired by your description—unique and brandable, but users may need more information to identify.
Format Controls which characters are allowed in generated names. Alphabets are always included. Enable Numbers to allow mixing of digits (e.g. go2web, top10deals, shop24). Enable Hyphens to include dashes between words (e.g. my-brand, fast-store, blue-sky). You can enable both simultaneously for maximum variety. Note that hyphens may slightly reduce brand quality for short names.
TLDs Choose which domain extensions to include when creating or checking names. Popular defaults are .com, .net, .org, .co, .ai and .info — a robust starting set that covers the most commonly recognized and registerable extensions. You can customize this at any time using the Change button to add or remove extensions from any category. Your selection is saved locally and remembered for your next visit.
AI Model Select the AI model that generates your domain names. Several models are available to choose from. Your choice is saved and remembered for your next visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about how the tool works.

How does the AI domain name generator work?
Simply describe your project, business, or idea, and the generator sends your information to your chosen AI model — powered by Google Gemini or OpenAI — which generates unique, relevant domain name suggestions based on what you type. Each suggestion is then checked in real time via DNS—so any name you see in the results is actually available for registration right now.
Which AI model should I choose?
We support several open-source models via Google Gemini, OpenAI, and OpenRouter. The active model can be selected from the AI Model selector in the generator. Models marked Unavailable are temporarily disabled. You can change the model at any time, and your selection is automatically saved. For complete information on all supported models, see our About page.
How does the domain availability checker work?
Type any domain name (without extension) into Checker and it will query DNS in real time across all your selected TLDs. Each extension immediately returns an Available or Taken result. The checker also uses AI to suggest names similar to the one you typed—all pre-filtered so only those that are free to register are shown.
Is the domain availability check accurate?
Results are checked live with DNS at the same time as your search, which is very accurate. However, due to DNS propagation delays and registry lag, a domain can sometimes appear as available when it was just registered, or as taken when it just expired. Always confirm with your preferred registrar before making a purchase decision.
Which domain extensions (TLDs) do you support?
We support 444 TLD entries in 16 categories — including Popular (.com, .net, .org, .co, .ai, .info), Technology, Business, Country Code, Creative, and more. Use the Change button on the tool to choose any combination, and your selection will be saved locally for your next visit. See the full list on our About page.
Can I generate a domain name for a specific country?
Yes. In the generator, open Settings and use the Audience option to select a target country. The AI will suggest names that sound natural and familiar to users in that region, based on local language patterns, naming styles, and cultural practices—instead of creating generic English names.
What do the Length and Creativity settings do?
Length controls the approximate character count: short (approximately 4–8 characters), medium (9–13), or long (14+). Creativity controls how innovative the names are: Low stays close to real dictionary words, Medium combines words to create portmanteaus, and High creates entirely new, brandable words that aren't in any dictionary.
What happens when I click “Load More”?
The generator continues the same AI conversation and creates a new batch of suggestions. The AI keeps track of every name previously shown in the session and won't repeat them — so every "load more" gives you truly new ideas. You can keep loading until you find the perfect match.
Can I allow numbers or hyphens in the generated names?
Yes. Use the Format toggle in the generator settings. Alphabets are always included. Turn on Numbers to mix digits (e.g., go2web, top10deals) and turn on Hyphens to allow dashes between words (e.g., my-brand, fast-store). Both can be enabled simultaneously for greater variety.
Why are some domain extensions more expensive than others?
Domain prices are determined by each TLD's registry and the registrar you purchase from—this is not something we control. Premium extensions like .ai or .io are more expensive because of higher registry fees. New generic TLDs like .shop or .tech often run first-year promotions. We recommend comparing prices at registrars like Namecheap, GoDaddy, or Porkbun before purchasing.
Is this tool free to use?
Yes—creating a domain name and checking availability is completely free. No account required, no signup, and no hidden fees. We simply help you find the perfect domain name as quickly as possible. Once you find one you like, register it directly with any domain registrar of your choice.
